Honor 9X the much-awaited smartphone launched in India. We saw many leaks and teased of this smartphone last year. All the Honor fans or smartphone users were expecting this smartphone to launched last year. But Honor delayed the launch of this new mid-range smartphone in the market. Honor launched 9X in India on 14th January. The smartphone has been launched to take on Realme 5 Pro Which runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chipset and Redmi Note 8 Pro Which is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T chipset. Whereas Honor 9X is powered by Kirin 710 Soc. The global version of Honor 9X is powered by Kirin 810 Soc. All these three smartphones almost have the same features and specifications, except the processors.
Honor 9X Specifications
The smartphone packs with 6.59-inch FHD+ display without any notch. Honor 9x runs on Android 9 (Pie) and EMUI 9.1. The smartphone packs a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera is 48MP, 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP camera for portrait shots. As there is no notch or punch hole design on the display, there is a 16MP pop-up selfie camera. This latest mid-range smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The face unlock option is not available in 9X. Honor will bring an update for the face unlock option for 9X. There is 4000mah massive battery.
Price and Availability
The smartphone is launched in two variants in India. The first variant is 4GB RAM and 128 GB storage which costs Rs 13,999. The second variant is of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which costs Rs 16,999 in India. the first sale of this smartphone is on 19th January on Flipkart. 9X becomes the first phone that comes with a pop-up selfie camera at the lowest price.
