Instant messaging Whatsapp was constantly called on to change some features from the Indian government. But at least it happened so far when Whatsapp has obeyed the government. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has asked to bring a new feature from Whatsapp. Under this feature, users should have the option to take their permissions before adding them to a group. Now you can add anyone to your group. Similarly, anyone who has your number can add you to any group.
However, WhatsApp did bring a feature under which the user should have a number in the contacts of the Group Administrator. If the user has exited himself from the group twice he cannot be reconnected.
The ministry has written in its letter that despite the exit of the group twice, the user is added to the group through the other admin. In some cases, the group is created from the second number and the user are added to it. However Whatsapp has not responded so far.
Significantly, due to the rapid spread of news on Whatsapp, there have been many quarrels of people’s lives. To prevent this, the government has asked Whatsapp users to bring a location tracking tool that spread news or rumors. However, Whatsapp’s refusal to do so by referring to the privacy of the user. Now if the head of Whatsapp is kept in India, then hopefully Whatsapp will work on this feature.
